I enjoyed your website and thank you for the work you put into it for
everyone to enjoy.  Recently I finished reading an historical fiction written by the author Parke Godwin . It is based  on the Life of King Harold with the book ending at the Battle of Hastings.
 I have always been interested in the history of the British Isles, and found King Harold fascinating. I have spent time researching King Harold for my own knowledge.  It is a  hobby I enjoy.  I have learned a lot, not just about King Harold, but also about the culture.

 I have searched the internet for additional information about
Harold and the battle of Hastings, and came upon your site.  

I would very much like to read more about King Harold, King Edward and the
Battle of Hastings.  The book I finished was very well written but I would
like to seperate fact from fiction.  Hopefully in the near future I will be
able to travel to the British Isles and experience history in real life and
not just in my imagination.  Do you know of any other
factual books about King Harold his life and the battle of Hastings?  Any
help you can give me I will appreciate it greatly.
